Closing the digital divide
India's rapid digital transformation has widened socio-economic disparities. Girl students from low-income backgrounds remain the most affected. To bridge this gap, Rukmani Trust launched Digital Daan— a movement encouraging people to donate old but functional digital devices.
Digital Badges
Training teachers for a digital future
As classrooms across India rapidly adopt technology, government school teachers often find themselves struggling to keep pace. To bridge this gap, Rukmani Trust—in collaboration with TISS and Tata Trusts—has funded the innovative Digital Badge Course, a professional development programme designed to equip teachers for a technology-enabled future.

A dynamic educationist with nearly 30 years of experience, Gitanjali Krishnan Talwar has dedicated her career to shaping young minds and fostering educational reform.
She actively engages in humanitarian initiatives and education awareness programs, working closely with parents and teachers to enhance learning experiences and bridge gaps in the education system.

A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of expertise in financial services and wealth management, Shibu Das is the founder of Fine Advice, one of East India's most trusted financial services firms.
A Certified CSR Professional accredited by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he demonstrates a strong commitment to ethical, responsible, and sustainable business practices, integrating social responsibility into the core of his professional work. In recognition of his enduring contribution to the financial services industry, his company was honoured with the Moneycontrol (CNBC-TV18) Lifetime Achievement Award at the Moneycontrol Mutual Fund Summit 2024.
